The Wizard Update Has Arrived

The defining feature of the upgraded wizard is the ability to choose a theme for your site. The 21 different themes include topics such as automotive, dating, sports, business, travel, jobs and music. Choosing a theme infuses your site with relevant images, news feeds and other components. In the event that your site doesn’t exactly fit in with any of the 21 themes, then no big deal – the wizard will still load your site with menus, links and other elements that are extremely easy to customize.

The upgraded Site Wizard also includes a more interactive color scheme selector, allowing you to see the results of choosing from various color themes. No more guessing about which elements will be which color! The wizard also features enhanced displays of each site template, giving designers a better idea of the framework options for their sites.

Adding pages and content to your site – the third step of the wizard -- is also easier in the wake of the recent update. Unlike the original Site Wizard, this new version features a site tree that clarifies exactly which page you’re adding content to. Overall, the process of adding content hasn’t really changed during the course of this massive update. However, the process is clearly more intuitive than it was a month ago.
